Welcome, I’m Raquel!

I’m the writer behind Fresh off the Stack, where I share recipes I actually cook and enjoy and think you’ll love just as much. I’m inspired by seasonal produce, local markets, meals shared with family and friends, and the flavours of my Peruvian and Moroccan-Jewish heritage. I also draw from the many cultures around me and have definitely been known to dabble in some fusion. Most of the time, I cook what sounds good, and I don’t always follow the rules!

Beyond recipes, I share weekly eats, things I’m loving, food from my travels, and more. My hope is that this space brings a bit more joy, and creativity into your kitchen and maybe even inspires you to try something new!
